WHY THE NAME 'LAST WEEK'?
One of the most important things we can do for the environment is to reduce consumption. To do that, we must use what we have longer and buy less. In the midst of the year's most busy time for discounts, sales and consumption, we are putting on a festival dedicated to maintenance and repairs. Together with a handful of other longevity enthusiasts we want to help you be able to use what you already own a little bit longer.

Last Week means many things. Last means something that continues in time, something that remains fresh or unimpaired, something that lasts. In other words, everything we stand for and want our clothes to be. And it is definitely not a coincidence that the festival is held the last week before Black Week.

Parts of the program are recurring and can be experienced throughout the entire duration of the festival, while others will only be arranged at certain times and days. The activities marked with a star (*) are not available every day. Read the entire program to be sure that you catch the activities you are interested in.

Now you might be wondering what you can get repaired at Last Week. Here is a quick summary.

FREE REPAIRS BY NORTHERN PLAYGROUND

  • Each day Northern Playground is offering 100 free repairs. First come, first serve!
  • We will only be accepting simple repairs that take a maximum of 15-20 minutes (so we can help as many people as possible)
  • We will be sewing as fast as we can, but can't guarantee that we can return your garment back to you the same day you deliver it to us
  • Examples of what we can repair: Small holes, loose or torn seams, tears in down and shell products and holes in knitted garments.
  • Examples of what we can't repair: Worn crotches, changing zippers, damaged GoreTex products (small tears are ok), redesign or alterations.

If the repair is too demanding to be done within 20 minutes, or we have no more capacity, you can check out Beholde or Fikse.

REPAIRS BY BEHOLDE

  • The first three repairs each day are free. Note that this only applies to small repairs. See prices here.
  • Beholde will accept garments that need new buttons or zippers, have holes or damaged seams, or that need patching.
  • They also offer simple alterations like hemming pants or dresses. If you want a garment altered it must be delivered with safety pins that mark where you want the garment hemmed.

REPAIRS BY FIKSE

  • Get 15% off of their normal prices throughout the entire festival.
  • Fikse accepts all clothes, shoes and purses for repairs or alterations, besides GoreTex
  • They are also available to give you advice on how you can get your garment to sit as perfectly as possible

FINANCED BY OUR ENVIRONMENTAL TAX
Our vision is to reduce clothing consumption. Amongst other things, we pay an environmental tax on each product we sell. The tax is then used to save clothing and make sure you use what you have a little bit longer. Previously we have offered free repairs with the tax. Now we are going bigger than ever and financing the entire festival with it. Read more about our environmental tax here.
