AREAS OF USE
A longsleeve shirt with buttons at the neck, or a grandpa sweater, will forever be a classic. The history of this design can be traced back in time, and with good reason. The grandpa longsleeve is suitable for use in nature, in the garden with hands full of flower soil, or while giving a lecture in front of several hundred people in a suit.

MATERIAL
The hemp fibers are cultivated and processed in Lithuania, and the material is then knitted in Estonia. Hemp is a very strong and durable fiber that also grows rapidly, entirely without pesticides and chemicals. To create a soft and comfortable garment, hemp fibers are blended with organic cotton.

WHY 30% HEMP?
We have conducted research on hemp for a considerable period, and there are continuously emerging qualities. However, the majority of them are blended with synthetic fibers, something we do not want in this product. Several yarn producers offer hemp from China, which is softer, but we prefer not to use Chinese hemp when there is hemp available in Lithuania. We also did not feel confident about the chemicals used to soften this coarse fiber. After sourcing and evaluating numerous alternatives, considering factors such as pure natural fibers, traceability, organic cultivation and production, comfort, softness, and a clean and timeless appearance, this is the best option we have found. The cotton makes the hemp much softer and more comfortable to use. The structure of the hemp fiber is less dominant, providing a more classic look. This is the explanation for why we have chosen to use such a large proportion of cotton. If we find an equally good quality with a smaller proportion of cotton and decent cultivation and production, we are open to testing alternatives in the future.
