Use More: Second hand
We try to make clothes that last, and that people actually want to wear for a long time. But for many different reasons, that’s not always possible. When that happens, we can work together to give the garment a second chance at life.

Do you have Northern Playground clothes you no longer use? We can sell them for you!
Click the link below and book a time to drop off your garments at our store in Grünerløkka, Oslo.
When you hand in your clothes, we’ll inspect them. After that, we take care of the rest: we set the right price and sell them in our store. When your garment is sold and has found a new home, you’ll receive half of the sale price.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Find your NP garments that you want to sell.
Create a profile in our Use More: Second Hand service and book a time to drop off your garment(s).
All drop-offs must be done physically in our store in Grünerløkka, Oslo.
You can hand in up to 3 garments per person. It might be smart to bring a few extra pieces in case some don’t pass our quality control (see section on garment requirements).
We put your garments out for sale right after you’ve delivered them to us.
Time: Each garment will be displayed for 30 days.
When your garment is sold, you’ll receive half of the sale amount. You can use this as store credit or have it paid out to your bank account. Payouts are made on the 1st of each month and must be requested in your profile (“My Page”).
If the garment doesn’t sell, you’ll receive an email notification. You then have 14 days to pick it up in the store.
Garments that aren’t picked up within 14 days will be donated to us.
GARMENT REQUIREMENTS
Only NP garments. NO socks or underwear (including bras).
All garments must be in good condition: freshly washed, no odor, no stains, no holes or other damage.
Repaired items are fine, as long as the repairs are properly done.
SUSTAINABLE?
IS SECOND HAND SUSTAINABLE? Yes – but also no. Buying used is great when it genuinely extends the life of a garment and reduces the need for new production. But it can also lead to higher consumption, because it feels easier to buy new when you can sell the old.
We’re big fans of buying and selling used clothes. But if second hand becomes an excuse to buy more, we’ve missed the point.
If you truly care about sustainability, the most important thing is always this: Use it for as long as you can.
