MATERIAL
This t-shirt is made out of 72% Gots certified organic merino wool and 28% silk. In other words it is a completely natural product. Silk is very strong, and by including it we are able to make this product with very fine wool without it compromising the durability of the t-shirt.
By using organic wool we are certain that a range of strict requirements are met throughout the entire supply chain. Toxic chemicals are not used, the wool is mulesing-free and the garments are not treated with Superwash or other similar treatments. Read more about why we use organic wool and its advantages here.

WASH LESS
This t-shirt doesn't have to be washed as often as t-shirts in other materials. Hang it out to air after use, and voilà! Good as new. The reason you don't need to wash wool as often is because of its ability to absorb large amounts of water vapor. This helps keep the skin dry and prevents sweat, bacteria and odor.
It's a win-win situation: Good the environment, good your clothes, and hey – nobody likes doing laundry anyway, right?

NEW FIT AND QUALITY (GEN.2)
Over time, we’ve continued to develop our wool and silk collection with the goal of making the garments more durable.
The changes are based on several years of feedback on the first generation of wool and silk products, as well as a full year of testing by our “super users” to understand how the new generation performs in use.
To improve the garment’s durability, we’ve made technical adjustments to the fabric weight (10g heavier per m²), merino fiber thickness (from 17.5 to 18.5 microns), knitting density (tighter than before), and overall fit. The adjustments are small and not particularly noticeable when worn — but the result is a stronger T-shirt that lasts longer.
The main changes to the fit are:
A) + 1 CM ARM LENGTH
B) + 0,5 CM ARM WIDTH
C) + 1 CM DEEPER ARM HOLE
D) + 1 CM WIDTH
E) + 1 CM WIDTH

COMMUNITY
We don't do collections, and instead offer a permanent range of garments all year, every year. Our goal is to develop garments that never go out of style, making it unacceptable for us to follow color trends or launch new collections every season. Instead, we listen to our customers. If we see that a color is no longer wanted, we stop making it. If we think that people want a new color, we ask our customers and produce the one with the most votes. That way we create garments that we know the world wants, and avoid overproduction and overconsumption.

WARNING
Okay, perhaps “warning” sounds a bit dramatic, but even though this is just a garment (and not a chainsaw), incorrect use of our wool and silk clothing can impact your experience.
How so? Well, the product is made from thin natural materials – wool and silk. It’s designed to be extremely comfortable in all temperatures and activities, and to last a very long time. However, that doesn’t mean it can withstand everything. Thin wool has a downside: it’s not as durable as, say, thin polyester garments. To ensure it actually lasts, you need to be part of "the journey" and treat it a little differently than other clothes. Without care, it might actually have a significantly shorter lifespan. USE MORE
This product is made with durable materials and in a timeless design. This helps ensure that you can use it for many years, but its lifespan also depends on how you take care of it. If you take good care of your product and repair it when needed, you will be able to enjoy it for a very, very long time. We're here to help with that through Use More, a service that gives you help on fixing and caring for your product, and one free repair of this product. Read more about Use More here.

STORE AND MICROFACTORY
Our store is not your typical shop. Sure, we sell clothes and make money from it, but can we do everything the opposite of what typical clothing stores do? Our goal is just as much about opening minds and showing that it's possible to do things in a completely different way, with a totally different footprint.
Visit us at Grünerløkka in Oslo (where Markveien crosses Korsgata) to try on clothes, share your input on new products, repair worn garments, see how your products are made, or just have a chat with one of us. More information about the store here. Read more about our store concept here.
